Foundation Financial Affairs

The Foundation Financial Affairs Office (FFA) provides budgeting and financial management services for the University of Louisville Foundation, Inc. (Foundation) and its corporate affiliates.  The FFA staff manages and invests endowment and gift funds in accordance with donor guidelines to support the University of Louisville's education, research and service goals. These funds are primarily used for scholarships, research chairs and other academic initiatives.

The staff also assists the University in being an engine for economic growth for the city of Louisville Metro , the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the region through private sector partnerships, leveraging financial resources, increasing research and commercial income, and initiatives such as tax increment financing (TIF). Currently, the FFA office monitors three TIF districts: Belknap Engineering and Applied Sciences Park, Louisville Health and Life Sciences, and ShelbyHurst Research and Office Park. They currently oversee real estate investments of the Foundation to develop resources and contribute to its revenue success and providing financial benefit to the University of Louisville.
