Welcome to the Louisville Bioanalytics Group

We are a group of bioinformaticians and analytical chemists interested in biomolecular quantification and network analyses using a systems biology approach. Our hypothesis is that the chemistry of biomolecules in living systems can define disease mechanisms. Our goal is to decode the disease mechanisms using advanced bioinformatics methodologies and modern analytical techniques. Our research is multidisciplinary in nature and brings together computational science and experimental science to address biological problems. The bioanalytical research in our group exploits practical and efficient high-throughput technologies for the analyses of complex mixtures derived from living systems. Our bioinformatics research develops informatics systems that enable the mining of high-throughput data for the identification and quantification of molecular networks and ‘systems level’ knowledge assembly.
