Theodore R. Smith, Ph.D.

Dr. Smith serves as the director of the Community Engagement Core since January 2025. He has been with the Louisville Superfund Research Center since 2018 with responsibilities for Research Translation.  Dr. Smith collaborates with Dr. Heberle and Dr, DeJarnett to ensure successful completion of the community engagement aims of the center.  Dr. Smith is a longtime collaborator with Project 1 and several relevant state and local government agencies and nonprofit organizations.
