2021 Watson Conference
Welcome to the thirteenth biennial Thomas R. Watson Conference in Rhetoric and Composition!
Driven by this urgent moment in global, national, local, institutional, and personal history, our guiding theme this year is "Toward the Antiracist Conference: Reckoning with the Past, Reimagining the Present."
The conference, to be conducted virtually, is divided into two parts. From April 14-16, we will be offering mentoring workshops for graduate students on topics related to writing, research, publication, and professional identity. From April 21-23, we will be staging the conference itself. Registration for both the graduate student workshops and the conference is free and must be completed by April 8 and April 16, respectively.
