Candace Spencer is a 3rd year Graduate Student here at UofL. She is from Raleigh, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Greensboro College in Greensboro, North Carolina in their undergraduate acting/theatre program. This small, liberal arts college paved the way for her to further her education and pursue her M.F.A in performance at UofL. A few credits at UofL are The Birds as Diane, Hashtag as various characters, and Fires in the Mirror as various characters. Candace has also assisted in the show Split Second as Assistant Director/Dramaturg position. She is excited for her last year of Graduate school and with writing her thesis, which is centered around the Black Female Identity. Upon graduating as a master of acting, she plans to pursue her acting career by auditioning for acting companies and writing screenplays or stage plays.
