I will share my experience in the design of clinical trials for oncology and infectious disease studies, including dose selection strategies in phase I trials and the application of Simon’s two-stage design in phase II trials. I will also discuss my experience with sample size re-estimation during interim analyses in phase III trials, a key adaptive design strategy that allows for sample size adjustment based on accumulating data.
