The purpose of this Steering Committee is to ensure alignment between collaborative activities and stakeholder priorities within the mission of the Health Equity Innovation Hub. The guidance of the committee will ensure alignment and leveraging of resources on priorities of highest priority and value.
The committee will provide input and approve the Health Equity Innovation Hub annual strategic plan and review progress quarterly based on the identified Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). If stakeholders’ priorities shift significantly during the year, adaptations can be discussed by the committee at quarterly meetings, or sooner as needed, and communicated accordingly. The committee will connect Hub leadership to potential collaborators and opportunities within and outside the partner organizations, and will raise the visibility of the Hub nationally and internationally. Steering committee members will assist Hub leadership by addressing institutional barriers to collaboration.
