Clinical Coordination
Study coordination services begin with the site initiation and end with the study close. Coordinator services include the following:
- Coordinates initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits
- Obtains and creates needed source documents
- Completes paper or electronic case report forms (CRFs)
- Screens, recruits, and schedules patients and healthy volunteers
- Conducts study visits and coordinates procedures
- Handles investigational materials (drug/device accountability and administration)
- Processes, packs, and ships specimens
- Coordinates hospital departments as needed
- Reports subject participation and payment
- Resolves data queries
- Reporting of External SAEs
- Reporting of Local SAEs
