No individual shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, disability, age, gender (including gender identity), sexual orientation, religion, or any other legally protected classification, be excluded from participating in, be denied benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program, service, or benefit provided by the Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium


The Rauch Planetarium is wheelchair accessible with space available in the rear of the theater. Please see the Manager on Duty if you need assistance.

For guests who are deaf or hard of hearing: headsets are available to amplify the soundtrack of the shows. Glow-in-the-dark gloves are available if a guest wishes to have someone in their party interpret. Please contact the planetarium 4 days in advance of your visit to request either the headset or gloves.

Shows are projected on a 55 foot dome, surrounding the audience in visualizations. If someone with a visual impairment has a specific request regarding seating, please contact us a few days prior to the planned visit and we will arrange accommodation.
