Current Research
Dr. Du-Caines' research interests include middle-atmosphere energetics and dynamics, water vapor distributions, lightning and synoptic meteorology. Projects include the following:
- Wave coupling and its role in the momentum and energy budget of the middle atmosphere.
- Short-term tidal variability from the troposphere to the dynamo region.
- Physical causes of multi-scale temporal variability in atmospheric tides from the troposphere to the dynamo region.
