About
Anna Williams, of Lawrenceburg, Ky., is a member of the McConnell Scholar Class of 2025 at the University of Louisville. She studies English on a professional and public writing track and political science.

Anna is a graduate of Anderson County High School, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and as a four-time class officer. She was a council member on the Commissioner’s Kentucky Department of Education Student Advisory Council and a member of the National Honors Society. She is an alumna of the Governor's Scholars Program.
The McConnell Scholarship has given me the key to further embrace my love for learning and leading. It has provided me access to so many scholars and their stories, in which I hope to absorb and carry those lessons and tips throughout my journey as a Cardinal and beyond.
