About

Honette Irakiza, of Warren County, Ky., is a member of the McConnell Scholar Class of 2029 at the University of Louisville. She plans to earn a BA in business economics.

High School Experience

Honette is a graduate of South Warren High School, where she was involved in Girls Lacrosse, Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Kentucky Department of Education Commissioner’s Student Advisory Council, Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, Student Council, Church Choir, Foundation for Connecting Communities (FCC), Teen Court, and Kentucky Student Voice Team. She also performed community service with SMILE², Dance Little Red, and FCC Workshops.
