Christian Dempsey, of Owen County, Ky., is a member of the McConnell Scholar Class of 2029 at the University of Louisville. He plans to earn a BA in political science and history.

High School Experience
Christian is a graduate of Owen County High School, where he was Student Council President, Civics Club President, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes Treasurer. Christian also served as a Kentucky Senate Page in the 2025 KY General Assembly, is an alumnus of the Governor Scholars Program, and served as School Board Student Representative ('24-'25). Christian also served as a Summer Worker at Blue Grass Christian Camp, a Kelly Craft for Governor Volunteer, a Felicia Raybourn for State Representative Volunteer, a James Comer for Congress Volunteer, and as Youth Chair of the Owen County Republican Party.
