Caroline Bergin, of Louisville, Ky., is a member of the McConnell Scholar Class of 2028 at the University of Louisville. She plans to study political science.

Caroline is a graduate of duPont Manual High School and plans to study political science. She was a member of the varsity cross country team, Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, the Creative Writing Club, and the Speech and Debate Club. Caroline is a recipient of the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Scholarship.

I am honored to be chosen as a McConnell scholar, and I am extremely grateful to be joining a cohort of brilliant students. The McConnell Center will allow me to grow, and it will shape me into the person that I want to be. The opportunities the Center provides will prepare me to step into the future and make a positive impact on the world around me.
