Jacob Jones, of Cynthiana, Ky., is a member of the McConnell Scholar class of 2021 at the University of Louisville, where he studies political science and history. He is a member of the UofL Honors Scholars Program. He was named the 2019 Student Orientation Staffer of the Year

Jacob Jones is a 2017 graduate of Harrison County High School, where he graduated third in his class. He served as his class president, the student body president, and as vice president to Beta Club. He was also a member of the Title IX Gender Equality Board, The Teen Court, and Leadership Club. He was a 2016 Kentucky Governor's Scholar.
