About

Ben Barberie, of Lexington, Ky., is a junior McConnell Scholar at the University of Louisville, where he studies political science and economics. As a sophomore, he studied abroad in The Hague, Netherlands, minoring in branding and trends in marketing, financial markets, and sustainable business.

Ben Barberie is a 2017 graduate of Lexington Catholic High School, where he served on Student Council and was a member of the Bluegrass Youth Sustainability Council. He participated in the 2016 Governor Scholars Program and received the Kentucky House of Representatives Academic Achievement Award. He received the Lexington Catholic High School’s Lee McGrath Community Service Award for his extensive community service
