Jill Scoggins is Director of Communications for UofL’s Brandeis School of Law. She develops and manages the school’s branding, marketing and communications across all channels.
Jill earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Lamar University, where she also held two positions after graduation. She also has worked in communications for Baylor University, University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, University of Missouri-Columbia and Meharry Medical College in Nashville. She came to UofL in 2010 working in Health Sciences Center communications and then was UofL’s Director of External Communications for two years before coming to Brandeis.
Her favorite truism is, “Always be sure the juice is worth the squeeze.” “There are scores of communications activities we can carry out,” she says, “but we must be sure we employ the just-right strategies and tactics that give us the quality and results our brand deserves.”
