Alex Muckler joined the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in June 2022 as the Assistant Director of Admissions. In this role, she is committed to sharing her love for the city of Louisville and the UofL campus community with prospective students to build a diverse and dynamic cohort.
Before coming home to UofL, Alex spent thirteen years in various roles at the Kentucky YMCA, seven of them as Senior Regional Director. There she oversaw all recruitment efforts for the nation's largest teen serving Y, with a focus on civic engagement, service learning, and character development. In her time at the Y, Alexserved tens of thousands of teens in Model State Legislative and Model United Nations Programs, Character Development Conferences, and Service Learning Travel Experiences, as well as supporting Student Y Chapters across Kentucky. She also spent a year directing the internship program at the Hurstbourne Northwestern Mutual Office.
Alex grew up in Barren County, KY, and received her BA in English from the University of Louisville in 2007. She has been active in the community since then, currently serving as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at the Louisville German American Club. She loves live music and travel.
