Bethany Bray is second year doctoral student of Criminal Justice at the University of Louisville and is currently working as a Graduate Assistant for Dr. Swartz. She received her B.S. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2018 and her M.S. from the same in 2020. She has presented on the topic of authorship trends within criminological research and has assisted on publications detailing descriptions of intimate partner violence across various genres of music and examples of moral panics in modern television. In 2020, she received the Outstanding Master's Student Award from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Graduate School and the Inspiring Women in Lifelong Leadership Award from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's Center for Women and Gender Equity.
