Dr. Heather M. Ouellette is the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Internship Coordinator, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Louisville. She earned her Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina in 2018. Her research interests include corrections, public opinion, and inequalities. Dr. Ouellette’s recent work has been published in journals such as Criminology & Public Policy, Journal of Experimental Criminology, American Journal of Criminal Justice, and Crime & Delinquency. She has taught courses on U.S. Corrections, Sociology of Crime, Research Methods, and Criminal Justice Internships, among others.
