Alex Widdowson is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of Louisville. He received his Ph.D. in 2018 from Florida State University’s College of Criminology and Criminal Justice. His research interest includes the development of crime over the life course, the consequences of criminal behavior and criminal justice sanctioning, peer delinquency, and prisoner reentry. His work has recently been published in Criminology, Journal of Criminal Justice, Youth Violence & Juvenile Justice, Journal of Developmental and Life-Course Criminology, Journal of Adolescent Health, Journal of Research on Adolescence, and Journal of Early Adolescence. He teaches courses on criminological theory and criminal and delinquent behavior.
