Her primary research interests include corrections and reentry of offenders, qualitative methods, and biosocial theories of crime. She is also interested in applied research which supports the goal of developing evidence based criminal justice policy reform. Amanda has recent publications in Deviant Behavior and International Criminal Justice Review.
She is currently a graduate assistant to Dr. Swartz, and teaches Introduction to Criminal Justice.
