Until his retirement in 2022, Michael Williams was an Associate Professor (Term) of Comparative Humanitiees, teaching courses in modernism, the fantastic in modern culture, Weimar film, and the nineteenth- and twentieth-century novel. Dr. Williams is also a novelist, having published fifteen books with a number of presses internationally. His work has been translated into seven languages, and his novel Arcady was nominated for the prestigious Locus Award for the Best Fantasy Novel of 1995.
