Donald J. Biddle

Director and Senior Lecturer, Center for GIS

About

As the Director of the University of Louisville Center for GIS I have the pleasure of working with a diverse range of colleagues and collaborators, from students who are just beginning to grasp the power of geography to brilliant researchers on the bleeding edge of geospatial technology. In addition to teaching and research, I enjoy working with administrative units within the University to provide GIS services that improve business practices and help UofL run more efficiently. I also work with community partners including non-profits and local businesses to help them leverage geospatial technologies to make more informed decisions in their own practices. Above all, I take great joy in helping people to understand the power of maps and spatial thinking.
