Al Harahap is Lecturer in Queens College, CUNY’s Dept. of English. His administration, research, service, teaching intersect in institutional writing ecologies, including but not limited to Writing Across the Curriculum, Writing Centers, and Writing Programs. He has published on the politics of professionalization in WPA Journaland chapters in collected editions on Writing Across the Curriculum, is Co-Editor of Literacy in Composition Studies, and serves on boards of the CWPA (Council of Writing Program Administrators) and WAC Clearinghouse.
