Dr. Clara Sears research in epidemiology investigates the effects of environmental and behavioral factors on early life development and cardiovascular health. This research takes a life course approach, with an emphasis on pregnancy and adolescence as periods of heightened susceptibility to environmental factors that shape the development of chronic diseases.
