Steve Sizemore, AICP, PTP, is a city planner with over a decade of experience working in Louisville, KY and other communities, including Buenos Aires, Argentina and Hersonissos, Greece. He holds a master’s in urban planning from the University of Cincinnati. Over his career, he has focused his work on the role of transportation and land use planning as a tool for improving the quality of life in the city.  In Louisville, he played a key role in long-range initiatives focused on multi-modal transportation, land use, and healthy city planning. Since 2007, he has served as adjunct faculty in the University of Louisville's Masters of Urban Planning program. Steve’s research interests include understanding the impacts of transportation planning decisions on social equity, particularly advancing fair and affordable housing and  as well interest in advocacy planning, spatial justice, green infrastructure, and understanding health impacts of the built environment .When not planning the city, he plays percussion in the award-winning music group, Appalatin.
