About

Mollie Weisberg is a 2009 graduate from the Hite Institute of Art & Design. She earned her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts for Interior Architecture after beginning her studies in New York City at Columbia University where she studied Architecture and Architectural History. Professor Weisberg was the 2009 recipient of the Kaden Foundation merit scholarship in design and won the Winthrop Allen Memorial Prize in Fine Art as an outstanding senior. Her expertise in design include lighting and sustainability. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and has worked globally on lighting and energy projects. Mollie has collaborated across disciplines with national and international colleagues and partners in order to identify financial incentives for decision makers to make sustainable upgrades to their facilities. Professor Weisberg also holds a master’s in education from UofL and worked for the public school system in Title I schools. Her other interests include product design, glassblowing, photography and videography. Prior to pursuing college, Professor Weisberg was a professional ballet dancer with Miami City Ballet and studied as a full merit scholar at the School of America Ballet in New York City.
