Collaborative Research
The faculty and research staff of the Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics regularly collaborate with individuals within and outside the University of Louisville, providing needed statistical expertise in support of research. From the design and planning of studies, to data management, statistical data analysis, and writing for technical reports and academic journals, our members are skilled in providing assistance in all stages of research. Some of Our Collaborative Engagements
- Lurie Children’s Hospital, Chicago, IL. Researchers at Lurie Children’s Hospital are working on developing, refining, and validating a clinical decision rule to discriminate bruising caused by child abuse in pediatric emergency room settings.
