Dr. Downard joined the University of Louisville in 2007 and is an Assistant Professor. She is the Director of Surgical Critical Care at Norton Children's Hospital starting in 2009. In her free time, Dr. Downard enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also likes to play tennis, travel, and is an amateur food critic.
