UPS CampusShip
Postal Services would like to announce the availability of UPS CampusShip for use by university departments. If you are interested in using this new processing tool, please request an account and register for a training class.
The benefits of CampusShip are:
- Centralized accountability. (Departments may assign individuals for processing, view all items shipped with access to tracking numbers, restrict services used, etc.)
- An address book with autocomplete function reduces entry time and mailing lists may be imported.
- The reference field is mandatory (departments must supply a speedtype).
- Address validation reduces address correction costs.
- Data from handwritten paper forms entered into system by UPS that cause billing errors will be reduced.
- Paper forms will eventually be obsolete.
