Resume Books in Symplicity

Resume Books are an additional tool to assist students in their job search.

Are you a 2L or 3L looking for part-time work this semester?  To assist your job search, please submit your resume to one or more of the following “Opt-in” Resume Books available through the OPD.  These Resume Books allow the OPD to quickly have a pool of candidates available from which it can use to submit resume bundles to employers who contact the law school seeking to hire students.

  • Louisville Litigation (legal employers with job opportunities for students interested in litigation)
  • Louisville Transactional (legal employers with job opportunities for students interested in transactional law)
  • Bullitt & Hardin County, KY (legal employers with job opportunities for students interested in Bullitt or Hardin County)
  • Oldham County, KY (legal employers with job opportunities for students interested in Oldham County)
  • Southern Indiana (legal employers with job opportunities for students interested in Southern Indiana)

To access the Opt-In Resume Books, go to “Documents” on Symplicity’s home page via the left-hand navigation bar and select the “Opt-in Books” option underneath.  Select the Resume Book(s) to which you wish to submit and click on “Add resume”.   If you have more than one resume uploaded to Symplicity, select the version of your resume you wish to submit for each particular Resume Book. Employers who contact the OPD looking for a law clerk/intern that fits under one of the geographic or practice areas listed above will be offered an electronic resume book consisting of the resumes from those students who applied.  Employers will contact those students they wish to interview directly.

All questions about the Resume Books feature on Symplicity may be directed to Debra Reh at dkreh@louisville.edu.  Additional Resume Book categories may be added in the future.
