Originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, came to Louisville for Doctorate Degree in Criminal Justice. Aspires to continue doing research in the field as well as become a Professor. My research interests include corrections, female offending, research methods, theory, specifically, developmental theories such as Life-Course Theory. My current research projects include working with data from the Educational Longitudinal Research Study of 2002 and collecting data for the NIJ project: Understanding the Adoption, Function, and Consequences of School Resource Officer Use in Understudied Settings. I am a graduate research assistant for Dr. Ben Fisher.
