Laboratory of Cardiac Metabolism, Remodeling, and Repair

Bradford Hill lab mission graphicOur laboratory is located in downtown Louisville in the Delia Baxter Biomedical Research Building (580 South Preston Street, Louisville, KY 40202; see map).

We are part of the Diabetes and Obesity Center in the School of Medicine at the University of Louisville.

Our research is focused on understanding the metabolic underpinnings of cardiovascular health and disease.

We use numerous molecular and biochemical approaches to understand how intermediary metabolism regulates cardiovascular responses to physiologic and pathological stress.

Mission

To understand the mechanisms by which metabolism regulates cardiac health and remodeling.
