About

Since graduating from U of L’s Anthropology program, I have won the Society for Applied Anthropology’s Peter K. New Award (2015), the IU Anthropology department’s Bidney Student Paper Prize (2016), and the IU Latino Studies Program’s Davila Student Paper Prize (2016).  I have also published my article, “The Nashville John School: Affective Governance and the Reintegrative Shaming Approach” (2016) in Human Organization, as well as two book reviews for Feminist Review and the Association for Feminist Anthropology.  I am currently a volunteer for Global Gifts (a fair trade non-profit in Indianapolis), Planned Parenthood, and the Indianapolis Undocumented Youth Alliance (IUYA).
