“Get Lit With GLOW” Financial Literacy Workshop

FREE seminar on women’s financial literacy! A banker, accountant and investments people will talk about loans, taxes, interest and credit with some info about raising capital, what start up terminology means and basic business plan necessities.

FEBRUARY

Women 4 Women Student Board’s Human Trafficking Awareness Conference

Wednesday February 4th

5:30-8pm, Student Activities Center Multipurpose Room

The University of Louisville Women’s Center and the Women 4 Women Student Board are hosting the 5th  annual conference that will feature experts on human trafficking who will speak about the problem and ongoing efforts to stop the crisis. Come out to this FREE event, and learn how to get involved.

“Sundown Towns” February 9th   – March 31st

An exhibit for Black History Month & Women’s History Month in Ekstom West, 1st floor examining the hidden history of Sundown Towns, which were cities and town intentionally made all-white through laws, violence, and intimidation up until the late 1960s.
