Provost recognizes faculty for service to UofL

by UofL Today last modified Apr 12, 2011 04:20 PM

Provost Shirley Willihnganz recognized 65 faculty members for their service to the University of Louisville with a dinner April 7 at the University Club.

Faculty receive recognition starting at 25 years and then every five years after that. Everyone receives a certificate and dinner for them and a guest. Those who are celebrating 25 years also get either a rocker or chair and faculty celebrating 30 or more years receive a crystal bowl with their name and years of service etched on it.
