The UofL Alumni Association invites faculty, staff and students to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series “Quaker 400.” Each ticket includes admission to the race, access to the exclusive Cardinal Takeover Hospitality Tent (free food, Coco-Cola beverages), guided pit tour, Fan Zone pass (go behind the scenes before the race and be stageside for Billy Currington concert).

Dale Abel, MD; PhD; chief, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism & Diabetes; director, Utah Diabetes Center. 4.) Reminder: Enroll in the Microsoft Campus Agreement by June 14
Through June 14, university departments and schools may enroll in the annual Microsoft Campus Agreement (MCA). The MCA will last for 12 months, providing access to Microsoft Windows and Office, including Outlook, at a rate of $81 per full-time employee. Enroll to keep departmental software and computers up-to-date and licensed through June 30, 2014. Enrollment includes free online Microsoft training and discounted work-at-home versions of Microsoft Office and Windows.

5.) Bio-hazardous Waste and Medical Waste Program change
Due to increased disposal costs, all university personnel will be required to follow recently developed bio-hazardous waste segregation guidelines. View these important changes. Also, labs will be required to label each full bio-hazardous waste container with a vendor bar code label. To obtain these labels visit the DEHS Radiation Safety Office located in Library Commons Room 102 or email your request to Cathy Price.
