1.) ASC to host Tarzan talks Friday
Talks 10 a.m., 11 a.m. Aug. 9, Chao Auditorium; Exhibit 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. through Aug. 16
Admission to the campus talks and the exhibit is free and public.
In Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan tales, a Dum-Dum was a gathering of apes. His fans will meet in their own Dum-Dum, an annual convention, Aug. 9 and 10 in Louisville. Archives and Special Collections will host talks and will have an exhibit of items from its Edgar Rice Burroughs collection.

Belknap Campus dining venues will close all day, Tuesday, Aug. 6, for mandatory staff training. Wendy’s only will be open 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Dining Services thanks you for your understanding as it prepares for another great academic year.

The School of Nursing’s Iota Zeta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International and UofL Hospital will host a presentation by Steven Lippmann, psychiatry professor, UofL, on gun violence in our community.
