Parenting concerns including feeding, sleeping, toilet training, and discipline will be discussed. This workshop is recommended for parents with children aged 9 mos.–4 yrs. Questions encouraged.

6.) Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
1 p.m. April 19 Human Resources Room 103A

Are you stressed out or anxious!? Mindfulness is all about paying attention—learning to spend more time focused on what is happening in the present moment, in an open and accepting manner. One major source of stress is being preoccupied with events of the past or future we have no control over. You can help manage stress by living more fully in the present. This hour-and-a-half long program will introduce some simple mindfulness practices you can use to reduce your stress.
