UofL Cardinal Park
UofL Future Cardinals Day Camp is June 17-21 or July 15-19, 9 a.m.-noon. Girls ages 7-13. Players registering before May 1 will receive a discounted admission. UofL faculty/staff will receive additional $20 off.

2.) Reminder — Brown bag lunch for parents, caregivers Thursday
Noon April 25, Human Resources, Training Room 103
The Work-Life Balance committee for Great Places to Work is hosting the new monthly brown bag lunch series to reach out and connect parents and caregivers who are dealing with the same issues. Each month, the group will discuss a different topic, which may include issues like community resources, school selection, child care options and stress relief. The first meeting will be to brainstorm future topics and discuss summer activities for children.

Bhatnagar will present, “Environmental Cardiology: Air Pollution and Heart Disease,” focusing on increasing understanding of the contribution of environmental factors to heart disease, assessing the impact of air pollution on CVD risk and evaluating the effects of air pollution on stem cells.

7.) Creating Customer Service Excellence

Come learn the basics of customer service in this fun and Jeopardy-inspired format. In this workshop we hope to reinforce a culture where everyone we interact with in the university is a customer or potential customer. Each participant will receive a customer service booklet, so come test your knowledge.

The Department of Neurosurgery and the Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury Research Center are pleased to have W. Zev Rymer, MD, PhD, present, “Robotics For Rehabilitation Of Neurological Impairment: Promises Unfulfilled.” Rymer is a professor in the Department of Physiology at Northwestern University, as well as the vice president for research at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Continuing education credit is available, and continental breakfast will be served.
