The Department of Neurosurgery is pleased to have Tie Fang, MD, PhD, present “The State of Neurosurgery and Epilepsy Surgery in China.” Fang is an associate professor in the Beijing Institute of Neurosurgery at Capital Medical University in Beijing, China. Continuing education credit is available, and continental breakfast will be served.

2.) Get ready — become a nonsmoker
Noon–1 p.m. for 13 weeks starting Jan. 18, first floor, James Graham Brown Cancer Center, Health Sciences Center
Free
UofL Kentucky Cancer Program is sponsoring free Cooper Clayton Smoking Cessation classes. The program consists of 13 one-hour weekly sessions. It is open to all ages 18 and over. Participants use nicotine replacement products such as the nicotine patch, nicotine gum or nicotine lozenge (free to class attendees). This is a science-based program which uses education, skills training and social support.
