The University of Louisville's Campus Health Services will offer free 2009 H1N1 flu mist to UofL students Monday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Activities Center, Multipurpose Room.
About 950 doses (flu mist only) are available and will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students should bring their UofL identification and they will be required to complete a consent form. Consent forms will be available on site but can also be completed in advance. Download and print a consent form (PDF).
These vaccine doses are for students only. The Centers for Disease Control have indicated that young adults 19 through 24 years of age should be vaccinated against H1N1.
Those who should NOT take the H1N1 flu mist include individuals 50 years or older, pregnant women and those with asthma, according to the CDC.
