Krystal Waller is a 1st year MFA in Performance student at UofL. Previous work includes: Pythio in the 2020 production of Jeff Whitty and James Magruder’s Head Over Heels (cancelled due to COVID-19); Nancy in Oliver!; and Mayzie LaBird in Seussical. Krystal received her B.A. in Africana Studies with a minor in Theatre Arts from the University of Pittsburgh (2020). While pursuing her minor, she was trained in a variety of analytical, vocal, and performance techniques. After graduation, Krystal continued to study African American plays and to focus on the basics of her acting technique, honing her craft into a style that fluidly utilizes the tools she has acquired. This year, Krystal will be in the UofL productions of Gloria and Fairview. Krystal is looking forward to her return to the stage, and would like to thank her mother, grandmother, and sister for their unwavering support.
