The Speed Museum Parking Garage is our parking recommendation. If it is full, you can try the (entrance near Starbucks)  Floyd Street Parking Garage.   Please arrive early for your exam in case the parking garage/lot you plan to use is full.  You can also visit U of L's PARKING website to purchase a printable visitors parking permit in advance for the East Brandies lot near the North Information Booth and Davidson Hall.

PLEASE NOTE: On Saturday and Sunday you may park for free in any available parking space on campus except the yellow/orange resident or handicapped spaces. We recommend the red lot between the School of Music and the College of Business. There is a fee to park in the Speed Art Museum Garage on weekends, and discount coupons will not be given.

Driving North on I-65 (for drop offs or Speed Museum Garage)

• Take I-65 North to University Boulevard (formerly Warnock Street), Exit 133.
• Turn left at the traffic light at the end of the ramp onto University Boulevard.
• Turn right at the 2nd traffic light onto Floyd Street (beside McDonald's).
• At the intersection of Brandeis Avenue, there is a traffic roundabout.
• YIELD to vehicles already in the roundabout, and enter the INSIDE (left) lane.
• Go ¾ of the way around the roundabout and exit onto Brandeis Avenue, staying in the left lane.
• You'll go under a railroad underpass and proceed straight through the next light at Brook Street.
• Just past that intersection a left-hand turn lane will open up.
• Turn left into the University of Louisville’s North Entrance (technically at 1st Street and Cardinal Boulevard, but there is no traffic light).
• When you get to the stop sign, you’ll see the North Information Center.  Our building is behind and to the right of the booth.
• You can be dropped off in the circle behind the North Information Center. 
• If you are coming to campus for an I-9 appointment only, go to the North Information Center to ask for 10 minute parking or use the meters right pass the center.
• To park in the Speed Museum Garage, turn right at the stop sign in front of the North Information Center.
• At the end of the street, proceed about three quarters of the way around the circle drive in front of the College of Business (Harry Frazier Hall).
• Follow the driveway that runs parallel to the College of Business.
• Turn right at the stop sign and then left to enter the garage.
• Take a ticket for the gate to rise. Bring the ticket into the Testing Center with you.  We will give you a QR Code Coupon to reduce your parking fee.
• Exit the garage using the pedestrian door beside the entrance gate. Turn to the right and follow the sidewalk that runs behind the Rauch Planetarium (round building). This sidewalk ends at Davidson Hall. Follow the signs to the elevator and take it to the 3rd floor. Follow the signs to Room 310.

Driving South on I-65 (for drop offs or Speed Museum Garage)

• Take I-65 South to Arthur Street, Exit 134.
• At the first stop sign, turn right onto Brandeis. (Cardinal Park will be on your left.)
• At the intersection of Floyd Street, there is a traffic roundabout.

• Go halfway around the roundabout and exit onto Brandeis Avenue, staying in the left lane.
