Keys to Success
Keys to Success provides students access to laptops to support success in your coursework. The Student Success Center offers a short-term checkout program, but as of January 2024 has no laptops available for the ownership program.
If you don't have the technology or course materials that you need to be successful in your classes, make an appointment with your assigned Student Success Coordinator to discuss your options.

Who is eligible for the program?
- Currently enrolled undergraduate UofL students seeking their bachelor’s degree. (This program is not available for post-baccalaureate, second-degree seeking, or graduate students.)
- You have accepted all federal/state financial aid offered. (See ULink or contact the Student Financial Aid Office to review award package.)
- You have unmet financial need.
- Should you have anticipated aid that will be awarded within a reasonable amount of time (such as a KEES award), you will be directed to utilize the SSC’s short term loaner program (see above) and public computer labs.

How does it work?
Applications will be reviewed by the Student Success Center within a week of submission. After review, you may receive a request for more information or to meet with your Student Success Coordinator. You will receive notification of your eligibility via email and if approved, will be given information regarding laptop pick up.

Prior year recipients (2020/2021 and 2021/2022) continue to have warranty support for their laptops and can continue to work with UofL’s Information Technology in Miller IT Building (MITC) to file a warranty claim with the manufacturer. The iTechConnect office is open Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm in MITC and provides walk-in service.
