Pam Nessle Curtis
Pam Nessle Curtis has twenty five years of professional experience working in Student Affairs. Pam previously served as the Associate Director for Residence Life at the University of Louisville. In August of 2008 she was hired as the Director of Civic Engagement, Leadership and Service at UofL. In Housing, Pam oversaw the staff selection, training and leadership development for the student staff. She also coordinated student conduct and response to student crises.
Pam’s professional involvement includes serving as the Chair of the UofL Student Affairs Professional Development Committee since its creation in 2007. She also has served as the chair of the SACSA Career Services Committee. Other professional memberships include ACPA College Student Educators International and the National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs. Pam has done professional presentations on the state, regional and national levels on student conduct, leadership and staff training and development.
Pam received her Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Cortland and Master of Education degree from the University of Florida. Pam is married to Michael Curtis, a UofL Speed School graduate, and they have two children, Jake and Jeff. In her spare time she enjoys reading and knitting.
