The Student Activities Center (SAC) will be expanded and renovated to enhance services, spaces and programs for the University community. When completed in Summer 2018, the SAC will offer much needed meeting space to provide support for student organization events, departmental functions and University-wide activities. The renovation will enhance dining services and bookstore for the University community. With new lounge areas, the SAC will be the gathering place for UofL.

Features of new Student Activity Center:

  • 32,775 SF of additional space
  • Over 80,000 SF of existing space completely renovated
  • 16 new meeting rooms at 24,800 SF
  • Expanded, fully renovated retail space
  • Renovated, expanded bookstore/retail areas with outside patios
  • Enhanced/expanded dining facilities
  • Newly designed plazas
  • Central internal escalators replaced with open stairways/floorplan
  • New Façade
  • Upgraded infrastructure
