TipMany common symptoms of the flu are also symptoms of COVID-19. These two viruses will likely coincide this fall. If more people are vaccinated for the flu (and therefore less likely to present symptoms), it will allow our healthcare system to remain agile this season. Flu ShotsFlu shots are highly recommended to protect our university community and to avoid overwhelming the campus and community health care systems during flu season. Campus Health Services provides free flu shots for UofL faculty, staff, and students. Shots will be given at HSC from Sept. 21 to 25 and at Belknap from Sept. 28 to Oct. 2. The full schedule for flu shots with Campus Health Services is here. Bring your UofL ID and your preprinted flu shot consent form. It is important that the consent form be completed before you arrive.
