Minimize Your RiskWearing a facial covering and maintaining physical distance between people lowers the risk of getting the Coronavirus. Don’t let your guard down and continue to minimize your risk. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or you are concerned that you may have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, you should: Stay at home or in your residential hall. Even if you decide to seek care from your own medical provider, be sure to still inform Campus Health so the university can effectively track COVID-19 cases and ensure proper isolation procedures for our campus community. Flu Shot Requirement UpdatesUofL is requiring all students, faculty and staff who are coming to campus to receive a flu vaccination. Many common symptoms of the flu are also symptoms of COVID-19. These two viruses will likely coincide this fall and winter. If more people are vaccinated for the flu (and therefore less likely to present symptoms), it will allow our healthcare system to remain agile this season. Please note the following updates:
